Since the early 1990's, Mindswerve has stood at the forefront of the recording industry and it's
many changes. Mindswerve has exploded from the humble beginnings of a Mac IIci into the studio of choice for such
diverse artists as DJ Spooky, DJ Soul Slinger (Liquid Sky), Matthew Shipp and KMFDM. Founded and operated by FLAM, whose
pioneering spirit continues to lead the way through an exciting new Millennium.
Mindswerve offers one of the most sonically rewarding recording, programming, mastering, film
scoring, post-production and multimedia studios in New York City. With 3 workstations and
the latest in technology, several projects are always in session. FLAM personally works with
each project to ensure that it maintains the highest level of quality.
Mindswerve Studio Crew:
Producer, Engineer and musical arranger extraordinaire Annamaria Pinna has a rich recording history of her own, coming in from her Vajraland Studios and bringing her production talent to our independent artists in our Pro-Tools station.
Chief Audio/Video Recording and Sound Engineer David Sussman is available for on-site recording, mixing and music video production.
Travis Huff and Niko Plaitakis, have been incorporated to specialize in the expanding multi-discipline areas of web/graphic design and digital video alongside their digital audio experience. Ignition 13 are Mindswerve's web experts. Even Mindswerve's programmers/assistants, Unit and Datach'i, are recording artists in their own right. Mindswerve has rapidly mutated into a successful multimedia entity.
